My friends call me a force to be reckoned with. I am very energetic. I love hiking and backpacking. My favorite time to do backpacking is winter when there is no bugs. I also bike, horseback ride, kayak, snorkeling, cross country ski, and snowshoe. I love to garden perennials. I also have been taking voice lessons and sing opera. My latest song I am learning is tacea la notte placida (if curious listen to leotyne price version). I hope to eventually sing ride of the valkrie on my horse someday! I have had my horse for 13 years. She is one of my best friends...knows a heck of a lot more about the world around me then I do! She is always teaching me to stay in the moment. I am in a geology club....they call me shoveling sue...I have fun digging a lot of holes but don't find much! I also love waltz dancing but am a little dusty with it. I recently have gotten into contra dancing and love it! I had to end a 31 year relationship due to alcohol, and honestly I am really not looking forward to the dating scene. I am kind, honest, and loyal to those deserving this from me. I can be a bit belligerent to those not so deserving. I look forward to sharing my life with someone, while I also value some time alone. I am a passionate person who wears my emotions out on my sleeves so to speak. You will not have to guess what I am thinking or feeling.
